Chris was born in Cleveland, Ohio, grew up in Lexington, KY, and graduated from high school in Coral Springs, FL. He was an Army veteran serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division where he had many adventures training in Germany and Panama. Chris was also an animated story teller and will be remembered fondly for capturing his experiences in Panama where the monkeys threw their poop at the soldiers.
Chris was very fond of animals. No description of Chris’ life would be complete without also talking about Kayla, his Doberman Pincher, who died last year. They were inseparable. He also loved fishing and his favorite vacation spot was in the Florida Keys deep-sea fishing.
Chris was gregarious and had many people who loved him wherever he lived whether it was at work, helping friends and family fix their computers, or having a drink at his favorite bar. He was down to earth and an overall fun guy to hang out with.
Chris died with hope and optimism, making a positive change in his life. He will be deeply missed.
