Chris Hlavsa

Chris graduated from Medina High School in 1998. He worked for the City of Columbus for about 16 years, and also actively participated in multiple small groups and church groups. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He possessed a well-developed and quirky sense of humor. He had the gift of listening and hearing the heart of what you were saying. Chris gave the best spiritual counsel a person could ask for. Often the Holy Spirit would rise up something inside him while someone was talking - it was always exactly what that person needed to hear. He was single-minded in his pursuit of the Lord.

Chris will be greatly missed by his mother, Caroline Hlavsa; his siblings Nancy, Wendy, Michael, and Amy; his in-laws, and his many nieces and nephews, and all his aunts and uncles.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, David Hlavsa and his sister Kimberly.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN, 229 East State Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at The Potter’s House Church of God, 3220 Lowell Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43204. Interment at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick, Ohio.
