Charles James Pummel

Charles James Pummel Jr., better known as "Chucky", age 51, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Chucky was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 8, 1970 to Charles James Sr. And Karen (Pinto) Pummel. Chucky was a hard worker who dedicated 25 years to Big Lots. He was an amazing father who enjoyed taking his children to movies, shopping for random knickknacks, and enjoying his time with his children just hanging out. In his later life he appreciated spending time with his grandson, whether it be watching movies or building puzzles of all varieties. He had a great sense of humor and often took joy in scaring people. He appreciated nice sports cars and skulls. Preceded in death by his father, Charles James Pummel Sr. Survived by his daughters, Alexsis Henderson and Ashley Pummel; grandson, Kyle Henderson Jr.; mother, Karen Pummel; sister, Joyce Pummel and brother, Tony Pummel; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 4-7 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 with a funeral service to follow on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 11 am at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
