Cecil Goldsmith, age 74, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. He was born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio on September 9, 1941 to the late Ralph and Luella Goldsmith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Goldsmith; and best friend, Jerry Viers. He is survived by his niece, Tina Beekman; special friend, Judy Viers; and sister, Bernice Meyers. Cecil enjoyed riding his motorcycle and participated in numerous poker runs over the years. Special thank you to his wonderful caretakers, Cheryl and Michael, Dr. Melanie Tugaoen, and Grace Hospice. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 2:00PM-4:00PM followed by funeral service at 4:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio. Chaplain Lloyd Markley officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions in Cecil's memory may be made to Grace Hospice.
