Carole was born in Columbus, Ohio June 28, 1933, to Allen and Martha (Kennedy) Bennett. She graduated from Grandview Heights High School in 1951. She
attended Ohio University and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She
married her High School sweetheart, Jack Myers, December 21, 1954. She worked alongside Jack at Myers Real Estate, a family-owned business in Grandview. They raised their family in Grandview and Upper Arlington and enjoyed summer weekends on their boat up at Lake Erie. Many vacations were spent with family and friends cruising the Great Lakes. Carole and Jack retired to Palm Coast, Florida. In their later years they returned to Columbus and recently moved to First Community Village in Upper Arlington. Carole enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They put a smile on her face. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed painting and a devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Martha Bennett. Carole leaves behind her husband, Jack Myers; her children, John (Elizabeth) Myers, Mike (Denise) Myers and Kerri Myers; her sister, Paula (Bill) McMenamy; her brother, Steve (Kay) Bennett; nieces, and nephew; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of beloved relatives and friends who cherished her. Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Friday, March 4 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service for Carole will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2001 Northwest Blvd, Columbus, OH 43212.
