Carol J Wheeler

Carol June (Savage) Wheeler, age 84, entered into the presence of the Lord on September 3, 2022. Carol’s faith was an essential part of her life. She joined Neil, her husband of 60 years, in Heaven where they are undoubtedly walking hand-in-hand. Carol was the wonderful mother of Neil Jr. (Karen) Wheeler, Nita (Jon) Hanson, Neva (David) Fannin, and Nathan (Kerri) Wheeler. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Carol was born on December 26, 1937 to the late Earl and Sarah (Caton) Savage in Farmington, PA. She was the oldest of nine children; and is survived by two sisters, and four brothers.

Carol worshipped and served at Reynoldsburg Baptist Church for more than 45 years where she worked in the nursery, taught Sunday School, and was the church hostess for many years.

Funeral services will be held at Reynoldsburg Baptist Church, 887 Rosehill Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio on Saturday, September 10, at 10:30 a.m. Friends and family can visit together and share memories of Carol on Friday, September 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the church and on Saturday, September 10 at 9:30 a.m. A graveside interment ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Reynoldsburg Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger East.
