

Carol Baker Marsh died Thursday, January 21, 2016. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio to the late John O. and Marjorie (Url) Baker. She is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Margaret V. Marsh. Carol is survived by her husband, Glyde A. Marsh, Jr.; daughter, Susan E. (Tony) Swigert and their son, Austin; son, Perry G. (Sarah) Marsh; sister, Bonnie J. Harlow; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Frank) Soronellas, Steven and Robbie Soronellas, and Kristin Goree; father-in-law, Dr. Glyde A. Marsh; sister-in-law, Mary Margaret (David) McClure; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carol graduated from Coshocton High School and The Ohio State University. She was an elementary school teacher for 36 years and loved teaching. After retiring, she worked at Kohl's Department Store and really appreciated the associates there. Her hobbies included golf, bowling, and card club. Carol enjoyed being a part of the New Albany Boosters and watching the kids perform in the different sports. She especially liked accompanying the travel basketball team with her daughter, Susan and the travel baseball team with her son, Perry. Carol will be greatly missed.
