Carl was a proud member of Community Lodge #684 F&AM as well as Order of Eastern Star #488. He was an active member of the Aladdin Shrine and enjoyed many hours volunteering at the circus.
One of Carl’s greatest joys was being in service to others. Be it volunteering in his children’s activities, or later in life ushering for CAPA in Columbus. Carl’s most recent passion was volunteering with Camp Akita pick-up and return of campers at Dublin Campus of First Community Church.
Services will be held at Schoedinger Northwest (1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, 43221) on Wednesday, September 18th at 2:00 p.m., with a Masonic Service preceding the Christian service. The family will receive family and friends at Schoedinger directly following.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Camp Akita at campakita.org in Carl’s name.
