Brian Salyer

Brian Salyer, 46, of Pataskala passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at home. He was born on August 2, 1977 in Columbus, OH. Brian graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 1996. He married his high school sweetheart, Judy Pfeiffer, on July 24, 2002 in Newark, OH. Brian started working with Kroger in high school and was promoted to Department Lead positions for the remainder of his career. He was affectionate, caring, charismatic, humorous, and the life and soul of the party. His wife and son were everything to him. Brian was an avid football fan of the Denver Broncos and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a talented drummer and enjoyed adding pieces to his drum set as a hobby. Brian is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Aiden; mother, Cindy; grandmother, Louise Milliken; aunts, Cheryl (Ed) Maciejczyk and Brenda (Craig) Mathias; uncle, Mark Milliken; many cousins, in-laws, Anna Pfeiffer, Hatsadi (Jerry) Pfeiffer and Vanessa (Dan) Griffin; nieces and nephews, Brandon (Katie), Michael, Kayla, and Megan; and great-niece, Maybel. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Salyer; grandfather, Jerry Milliken; father-in-law, Frank Pfeiffer, and beloved cat, Stormy. Private family services will be observed.
