Brandon Michael Petty, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2021. He was born in Toledo to Michael and Brenda (Davenport) Petty on February 15, 1983. Brandon graduated from Upper Arlington High School and Southeast Career Center in 2002 and went to work as a waterproofer and in construction. He worked for his dad at RBM in Toledo for a few years as well.
Brandon was a man of many talents- he could fix a car, could build anything, and loved to cook. He enjoyed fishing and was known to hunt from his hand-built tree-stand. Being from Toledo, Brandon was an avid Michigan Football fan and rooted for his Green Bay Packers every weekend. He loved his Harley-Davidson but loved his friends and family even more. He was a great husband and an even better father. People knew him as the guy who would drop anything to help a friend, no matter what they needed. He had a huge heart, a wicked sense of humor, and was just generally "one of the best dudes you could ever meet."
Brandon is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Junior and Eugenia Davenport, and Mark and Dolores Petty.
Left to cherish his memory are his high school sweetheart and mother of his children, Amber (Thacker) Petty; parents Michael and Brenda; son Brandon Jr. and daughter Izabella "Izzy" Petty; sister Brooke Corbett; and nephew Rocky Corbett.
Per the family's wishes, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
