Betty Lou Barrett

Betty Lou Barrett, age 76, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 16, 1934 to the late Robert H. and Virginia Mae Monaghan. She retired from Franklin County Children’s Services after 30 years and for many years enjoyed bowling at Stardust Lanes in Grove City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barrett; and brother, John Monaghan. Survivors include her children, Pamela Johnson, Regina Barrett, and Patrick (Lorain) Barrett; grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew) Shepard, Shawn and Andrew Johnson, and Megan Campbell; great granddaughter, Hannah Martin; siblings, Robert (Virginia) Monaghan, Mike (Lois) Monaghan, and Robertia (Frank) Washburn. Betty enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family going shopping, out to eat, and spending any quality time they could together, there was always a good time to be had! Most of all she always made sure everyone was well taken care of.
