Benjamin James Miller, 90 of Columbus, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010. He was born June 9, 1920 in Columbus to the late David William and Daisy Elsa Miller. He was a graduate of West High School class of 1938.He served in the U.S. Army during WWII (1942-1945) as well as the Army National Guard and Korea (1949-1953). He retired from U.S Postal Service in 1975 with thirty years of service and had worked at Gearharts Hardware from the age of sixteen until October 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary F. Miller and sister Valedith Weiler. He was an easy going, loving man who loved to travel and will be deeply missed by his son David W. Miller, daughter Susan J. (Jerry) Frazee, three grandchildren, JoEllen S. Frazee, John N. Frazee and Julie A. Frazee, two great grandchildren, Hannah P. Horsington and Tyler J. Frazee. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
