Barbara A. Waring, age 61, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was born in Columbus on January 5, 1950, to the late Ralph K. and Edna P. (McManis) Waring. She was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Barbara was an avid reader, and she enjoyed keeping up with her friends over the phone. She is survived by a host of family, friends, neighbors, and her beloved pets. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. David Waring officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
