Barbara (Bobbie) A. Davis, 77, passed peacefully on November 7, 2020. She was born on June 26, 1943 to Ray and Mary (Recchiuti) Tuttle in Upland, PA. After school, she had two sons before moving to Ohio. Once in Ohio, she met her soulmate, Butch. They went on two have two more sons, and she also gained a bonus son from Butch's first marriage.
Bobbie was known for her thoughtful personality. She spent her whole life caring for those around her, family and friends alike. She was the primary caregiver for her disabled son, Chris, after a horrific car accident left him with a brain injury at the age of 18. She dedicated her life to caring for him, and never gave up on him. She was an excellent cook, and loved anything to do with cooking and baking.
There was never a dull moment with Bobbie around. If she wasn't in the kitchen, you could often find her running a bingo bus trip for her friends, or sneaking away to the casino for a few hours. She always had time for a friend/family member in need, and she never met a stranger. She was a very special woman, with a huge personality, and she never let anything stop her from achieving her goals. She may have been small, but she was definitely mighty!
Barbara is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband Robert Davis, and grandson Ryan Hamrick.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Ray Tuttle; her sister Sue Martino; sons Tommy (Rose) Hamrick, Robert "Bubby" Hamrick, Chris Davis, Mike (Nikki) Davis, and Curtis (Susan) Hallstrom; grandchildren Brittany (Brian) Harris, Matthew and Robert Hamrick, Kaylie and Dylan Davis, Curtie, Kyle (Rachel), and Colin (Samantha) Hallstrom. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, longtime friends, and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH, 43230 on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 1pm-4pm. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
