Barbara "Bobby" E. Cox Wilson

Barbara E. “Bobby” Cox Wilson, age 93, of Reynoldsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 2, 2024 at Mount Carmel East. She was born December 16, 1930 in Genoa, WVA, daughter of Corbett and Louise (Noe) Copley. She served 21 years as a secretary at Hannah J. Ashton Middle School in Reynoldsburg and was a grief counselor for decades at her church. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kaye Inscho, Carolyn Louise (Bob) Mathews, Terry Lynn Cox and Cynthia Eugenia Cox Ubaldo; beloved grandchildren, Doug (Brooke), Bill (Stephanie), Lisa (Skip) Tilton, Chris, Lori, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Katlyn and Damian; beloved great grandchildren, Amelia, Bethany, Justin, Seth, Amanda, Jesse, Sara, Peyton, Kevin, Michael, Robbie, Thomas, Shawn, Tony, Alaska, Braxton, Chandler and Bentley and many great great- grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Janet Copley; many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Besides her parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two husbands, Ancil Eugene Cox and Jack Wilson; brothers and sister, Donald Boyd Copley, Virgie Glenna Copley, William Clarence Copley and Delbert Linvall Copley and sons-in-law, Larry Inscho and Stephen Farney. Bobby was an active member at Reynoldsburg Community Church for many years, where she led a prayer walk once a week for many years. She was a former Girl Scout leader for 25 years and longtime PTA member in both Omar Schools in West Virginia and past President of PTA in Reynoldsburg City Schools. Bobby was a 35 years member of The “Social Ones” in Reynoldsburg and could be found tending to her flower garden at her home, especially proud of her roses. Years ago, she was one of the original Electrolux reps and was a Notary Public for over 50 years. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Reynoldsburg Community Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg. Interment to follow Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
