Ann Woods, 75, died peacefully at her home on October 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born in Saigon, Vietnam, on August 31, 1945. She was the former owner of the Szechwan House restaurant, and then retired as a manager at the Kahiki in 2000. Ann was a world traveler, and cherished her visits with family throughout the United States and in other countries. She was passionate about fishing, was an exceptional cook, loved to work in her garden, and enjoyed the company of her dogs. Above all, Ann put her family first. She was a very loving wife, an extraordinary mother, and was a proud Nana to her grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Ha Kiet, and mother, Loan Thoai. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Woods, her daughters, Julie Spence (Paul) and Linda Woods-Erdy (Christopher), her son James Woods, granddaughters Alexa Spence, Hayley and Caitlyn Woods, great-grandson Torin, great aunt Thuan Ha, many other relatives, and numerous friends. There will be a private service for Ann, with her immediate family only, on Monday October 12, 2020.
