Andrew Titus

Andrew Titus, age 82, died Wednesday August 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Kate and Andreas Titus; and siblings; Joey Titus, Peter Titus, and Caroline Titus.

He is survived by his loving Wife of 56 years; Mona Titus, Brother; George Titus, Children; Wayne (Annetta) Titus, Lauraine (Ernst) Camm, and Tertius Titus. Grandchildren; Andrew, Amanda, Sarah, Emile, Anthony, and Ania, and Great Grandchildren; Jaxson and Ava; numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew graduated High School and College in South Africa; while attending school he played and coached Rugby.

Andrew taught for many years in South Africa before moving to the United States in 1982. After moving to the United States he attended The Ohio State University graduating with a degree in Education. He taught for 5 years at Worthington Christian High School and retired from The Ohio State University in 2002.

Andrew was a member of Grace Brethren church for many years. He was passionate about many things in his life including: traveling, gardening, singing, dancing, and sports; especially football. He was his grandson’s biggest cheerleader at his football games. Above all he loved to spend time with his family.

A memorial service will be held at GRACE BRETHREN CHURCH, 8225 Worthington Galena Rd, Westerville, OH 43081 Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
