Andrea Elzey

Andrea R. Elzey, age 76, of Logan, Ohio, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 12, 2022 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 2, 1945, the daughter of the late Howard and Catherine (Porter) Vogelsang. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be sorely missed by her husband of 55 years, Ray G. Elzey, Jr.; daughter, Theresa Elzey; grandchildren, Tasha Elzey, Shane Ward and Adam (Kaylee) Tickle; great grandson, Josiah Eaves. Also survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Tom (Ethel) Vogelsang, Dale (Sharon Vogelsang and JoAnn Vogelsang; dear Mai family, Mike and Loan and dear friend, Sondy Buck; other relatives and many friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Tickle; son-in-law, Todd Tickle; brother, Gary Vogelsang and grandson, Joshua Elzey. Andrea loved nature and all the animals that were a part of nature, making many of them her family pets, along with her cats and dogs.
