She had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that she all loved dearly.
Alicia loved gourmet cooking, creating new recipes, and entertaining guests in her home. She loved French culture, cuisine, and language and could recite the Our Father and Hail Mary prayers in French. She enjoyed listening to country music and Christmas music at any time of year and amazed everyone with her ability to memorize the 3rd and 4th verses to all of the traditional Christmas Carols. She always enjoyed reading books, traveling on vacation especially to the beach, and cheering on the Buckeyes each Saturday in the fall. Alicia appreciated the simple things in life like a new kitchen gadget, growing culinary herbs, or the aroma of a Bath and Body Works candle. Nursing was her passion and she continued to work full time throughout her illness as a Care Coordinator for OSU Physicians because Alicia was selfless and always put others before herself. Taking care of and being with family was of the utmost importance to her. She held tight to the family traditions of the past and delighted in creating new traditions as well. She giggled when people complimented her on her sparkling shoes and sense of style. She loved anything purple. Even as an adult she was excited to rewatch the Disney princess movies with her daughter, especially The Little Mermaid.
