Alice Evaline Taylor

Alice was born on December 22, 1923 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late Delmer and Ethel Berry. She enjoyed her years working at Lazarus once her children were in high school. She made many lifelong friends there working in the gift wrap department and working the night shift stocking merchandise. After retiring from Lazarus you could often still find her there shopping, one of her favorite pastimes! She also enjoyed drinking coffee, talking on the phone, going out to dinner and her daily walks. Alice had many friends, especially the women in her card club that spanned many decades that held a special place in her heart. She spent a lot of time in St. Louis where her daughter lived with her family. She loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, never missing a birthday or special occasion, and was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. She was a great Buckeye fan and loved to watch all of the games. She loved telling her kids and grandkids that she loved them, “A bushel and a peck”. She lived a life of faith with an unwavering love for her family. What a beautiful legacy she left behind!

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Taylor; her daughter-in-law, Judith Taylor, and her 9 brothers and sisters, Ernest, Beulah, Kathleen, Eldon, Don, Vera, Dick, Owen, and Barney.

Alice is survived by her children, John Taylor and Kathryn Baisden (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Robbie (Stephanie); Candice Mesnier (Ken); Kelly Ritter (Nathan); Ronnie Baisden II (Michelle); Alexis Daly (Josh); Jamie Summitt (Jeremy); Joey Snelling (Kimmy). Her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Tyson, Ben, Joey, Emily, Kate, Evaline, Nicholas, Ronnie III, Bo, Rowan, Willow, Trent, and one great-great grandchild, Parker. Many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43229. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10:00 am with Pastor Shawn Hensley officiating.
