Shelby Lyn Smith

Shelby Lyn Smith, 27, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2024 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Shelby was born December 3, 1996 in Greensburg, Indiana to parents Noelle Webb and Brian Smith. She graduated from Columbus Signature Academy in 2016 and worked at the Jay C store as a shift lead. Previously, she worked at Wal-Mart for several years as a customer service manager. She loved getting tattoos and piercings, spending time with her siblings and her niece, watching cop shows, playing Nintendo Switch, and Starbucks; and she loved laughing and making people laugh. Shelby leaves behind her loving parents, Noelle (Douglas) Webb, and Brian (Deona) Smith; her grandparents, Vicky Colson, Otis Webb, and Mark and Teresa Smith; her step-grandparents, Kevin and Vicki Pitts; her siblings, McKenzie Smith, Zeke Smith, Nick Smith, Deegan Smith, and Ridge Harris; her brother-in-law, John Ogle, and her niece, Reagan Ogle. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Violet and Robert Hill, Jim and Nettie Smith, Margaret Shelton, Bryan Finke, Sue Webb, and Robert and Elsie Koenig. In honor of Shelby’s life, friends and family may gather for visitation on Tuesday, March 5 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel.
