I am so very sorry for the loss of this great man. I worked with him for years at CEP and he was and always be an amazing person, hard working, dedicated and so very kind. I know many of us miss him very much and are thinking about you all in this time. He is a brother that we will never forget. With all peace and love we are with you.

I have worked with Mike the last few years side by side every day, he was  a best friend, he was family , absolutely devastated, cannot fathom never seeing him walk through these doors again or stopping by the house after work and hanging out , so sorry to the family and the kids , he will be missed like no other

I was very sad to learn Mike passed away. Although we lost touch along the way, I remember just about living in the Steele basement playing pool, building legos and watching MTV when we were young and lived just down the street. I remember riding bikes, playing football in the yard and building out our beloved long cut hangout in the neighborhood and how much fun we had. I have a lot of great memories as kids with Mike. I just want to wish all of the Steele family the best during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mike. 
Mike was the little brother I never had. His sister (Kendra) is my bff (since 1st grade), so I still remember Mike as the little boy who sometimes tagged along and played with us. I had the privilege of spending time with the Steele family on Lake Monroe in their pontoon in my childhood. There is one particular memory that still stands out when we found a giant piece of Styrofoam (it looked like a mushroom) and Randall carved a “seat” in it and us kids would take turns floating in it on the lake.  
In our later years, when I would sleepover, Mike would sometimes come down to the basement and watch Saturday Night Live with us. Ah, those were the days! I recall Mike saying something about “why are all the e’s laughing at me” and we laughed so hard about it until we cried. I can’t even remember what that was in response to, but Mike could come up with some silly statements to make us laugh.
Losing a child is an unimaginable pain. For the Steele family, know that you’re not alone in your grief. May you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared together, and may his memory bring you peace. Love you all.

Mike I will always remember the good times as kids in the neighborhood, at school, and when we worked together. You were such a great friend to many and will truly be missed. Praying the Steele family finds comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Mike was my very first Best Friend. From the moment we met in first grade, we were inseparable. I have nothing but good memories of this silly, talented, and kind soul.  We shared an obsession with fighter jets and would spend every recess chasing each other around the school yard firing imaginary missiles at pretend bogeys and every class drawing them on any scrap of paper we could find. We spent hours drawing faces on our hands to make them into little puppets to act out the grody inside jokes only schoolboys find hilarious. Mike could out Super Mario me with one hand tied behind his back. Mike shared my love for comic books and was as heartbroken as I was when I told him I had to sell off my collection as an adult. As we grew up, years would go by between conversations, but we would always pick right back up where we left off as if no time had passed at all. I know that will be the case when we see each other again.  I love ya, my brother.

Mike, I still can’t believe you are gone.  I will always treasure the fun memories we had together.  You were a great friend and a great listener.  I wish I had pictures to post of us at the prom and just the main crew that always hung out.  I know you are watching over us now. Rest up n Peace Mike.
