Mary J. Harris
December 8, 1929 – December 25, 2020
IN THE CARE OF
Myers-Reed Chapel
Mary Jane Harris went to heaven on Christmas day at 91 years of age. She was greeted by her parents, Janie and Richard Hadley, siblings Jack, Maurice and Donald Hadley and Iona Warnick, husband Ronald Harris and son, Michael Harris.
Left behind, for now, include her siblings Sandra (Robert) Wade, Timothy Hadley, her children Judy Harris, David Harris, Tom (Kim) Harris, Diane (Brady) Stogdill and Kristin(Darren) Collins. She also left behind 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Mary was a proud homemaker and caretaker of her children and grandchildren, who loved her immensely.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and bird watching. She made many beautiful quilts for the family.
A Funeral Service for Mary will be held Wednesday, December 30 at 1 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Rev. Robert Vester officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday before the service.
In keeping with Indiana guidelines, masks are required in the funeral home and social distancing must be followed.
