Mrs. Taylor was born in Bartholomew County, IN. on May 17, 1925 the daughter of the late Louis Noble and Mae McKain Williams.
She married A. Dean Taylor on October 15, 1949 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus, IN. and he survives.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and co-founder and co-owner of Tannehill Park, Inc.
She was a founding member of Asbury United Methodist Church, a former member of the Bartholomew County Hospital Auxiliary and a life member of the Bartholomew County Historical Society and supporter of the Heritage Fund. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
The funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Taylor will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl St. with Pastor David Blystone officiating.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Along with her husband, Dean of sixty-two years, Mrs. Taylor is also survived by a daughter, Amy (Jerry) Sharp of Columbus, IN.; a son, Reed Taylor of Columbus, IN.; two sisters, Mary K. Lucas and Ann Hayworth both of Columbus, IN.; two brothers, Jim Williams of Kokomo, IN. and John Williams of Gulf Port, MS.; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Brad) Stoppenhagen of Wyoming, OH., Staci Sharp and Jessica Taylor both of Indianapolis, IN., Jonathan (Christina) Sharp of Columbus, IN. and Sarah (Matt) Guise of Brownsburg, IN.; and six great grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Stoppenhagen, Emma and Luke Guise, and Jarett and Shelby Sharp.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Cline and June Rhoades; and two brothers, Louis J. and Reed Williams.
