Martha Graham Davis

A member of First United Methodist Church of Columbus, Mrs. Davis belonged to Miriam Circle and was a charter member of United Methodist Women. She was a longtime member of Columbus Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Genealogical Society, Joseph Hart Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Bartholomew County Historical Society, Antique Club, and Historical Society of Greensburg. She had been a member of Modern Homemakers Home Ec Club more than 70 years.

She was a homemaker.

Funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Dr. Gary Schaar officiating. Calling will be from noon until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon, Indiana.

Mrs. Davis was born in Decatur County April 14, 1912, the daughter of Poole M. and Adah E. Meyer Graham. She married Wayne Davis June 8, 1929, in Jeffersonville. He preceded her in death May 7, 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane K. Roseboro of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a nephew, Gary A. (Marilyn) Davis of Greensburg, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Meyer and Connelly Graham
