Linda Dee Arnholt

Linda Dee Arnholt, 83, of Columbus passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at her home. Linda was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of the late Oscar and Reah Robertson Schlehuser. She was married to Donald A. Arnholt for 53 years; he preceded her in death in 2012. Linda graduated from Columbus High School in 1956, she then attended Indiana University and Indiana Business College. She worked several years in office management at Koala Behavioral Center, Quinco and Jody’s Gymnasium Zone. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church; she had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, Bible studies, volunteering at her church and Love Chapel. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived her daughter, Jody (Kevin) Tompkins; sons, Mark , John and Steve (Karah) Arnholt; grandchildren, Nick and Erin Arnholt, Audrey (Danny) Ross, Kevin and Jesse Tompkins, Whitney (Scott) Wynne, Kaden and Madison Arnholt; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St Pauls Lutheran Church, 6045 E. State Street, with Pastor Douglas Bauman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street and from 10:00 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
