Judith "Judy" Harting took her last breath on November 14, 2023. She passed at the age of 83. Judy was the daughter of George and Theda Lavely.
Judy was born on April 6, 1940. She attended Wheatland High School. During her younger years, she met Larry Harting. They dated and he soon joined the Navy and they exchanged letters until he came home. Once home, they married and moved to Plainfield. They had two sons, Brian and Paul.
Judy retired in 2008 from the Government Center North in Indianapolis, Indiana. She spent her retirement traveling with Larry and enjoying her great-grandchildren.
Shopping and Precious Moments were her favorite hobbies. Swimming, cooking, and playing with her great-granddaughters is how she spent most of her free time. "Grandma Great" will always be her favorite name she went by. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her sons, Brian Harting (Jill), and Paul Harting; grandchildren, Anna L. Modlin (James), Brian D. Harting (Ashley), Kendall E. Harting (Sikai); and great-grandchildren, Mila L. Modlin, Stormi V. Modlin, Aiden L. Harting, Tyler R. Harting, and Bradley W. Harting.
