Mr. Burch loved his family, his sons, cousins and the many people who knew him. He had a Christmas giving spirit all year through.
He attended Columbus East High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He loved his camera and spent hours taking pictures. He was an artist in many ways, including painting, drawing and woodworking, and was always busy making something for someone. He also loved to play his guitar.
He has missed his brother David, who was killed in 1986, and now can go home to see him again.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Westport Cemetery.
