Janet Sue McClintic

Janet's sister Judith M. Moore predeceased her but she is survived by her brother James E. Reed (Karen).

She was a loving mother of three and is survived by her children: Teresa Orkiszewski (Charles), Tamara McClintic and Ricky McClintic (Nelson Sheeley). Janet was the proud grandmother of 2, Benjamin Orkiszewski (Heather) and Peter Joseph Orkiszewski, as well as a proud aunt to 14 and great aunt to 20.

Janet's former spouse Larry M. McClintic is also deceased.

Janet retired from the cashier's office of Columbus Regional Hospital and worked many years before that at the Courier Newsom Trucking Company. Janet was a member of the congregation at New Hope Christian Church and received much love and comfort from their fellowship.

Janet was an active member of multiple social organizations including Country Club and HomeEc. An avid reader and fan of westerns, she also enjoyed word puzzles and the company of family, friends and her dear pets Piper, Onyx, Possum and Colt. She will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service for Janet will be held Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at Hathaway-Myers Chapel. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Additional Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday. Flower arrangements to the family are appreciated and welcomed.
