Golda M. Weidenbener, 90 died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Park Square Manor in Avon.
Mrs. Weidenbener graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1937, moved to Columbus in 1952 and then to Avon in 2006. She was a former volunteer at St. Bartholomew Catholic School and Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at noon Thursday St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
In keeping with Golda’s wishes, cremation is planned with inurnment at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
Arrangements were made by Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street.

Born in Gibson County Dec. 28, 1919, Mrs. Weidenbener was the daughter of Jacob L. and Eleanore L. Thomas Oestreicher. She married Paul Weidenbener Oct. 28, 1941, in Princeton. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 2008.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Weidenbener of Avon; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Weidenbener of Avon; a grandson, Michael W. (Robin) Weidenbener of Danville; and a great-grandson, Robert Michael Weidenbener of Danville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Robert P. Weidenbener on Oct. 14, 2009.
