She was born in Hazard, Kentucky January 9, 1930 the daughter of Linz and Julie Ison Griffie.
Mrs. Cornett was a long time employee of the former Yarco in Columbus and was a homemaker. She is survived by son, Ron Cornett of Hope, Indiana; daughters, Betty Sue Begley of Columbus, Linda C. Cornett of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, |Barbara K. Caudill of Hazard, Kentucky and Debra (Donald R.) Hoover of Columbus; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Robbie Dale Cornett; 1 grandson.
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Calling from 11:00 a.m. to service time Monday. Burial Garland Brook Cemetery.
