I still can't believe Zach has been gone for a year.   I enjoyed the time I knew him as a lifeguard  and the conversations  we had about swimming.  God Bless.

My Condolences to the Zach Smith family.  I would see him at the Turner Y first as the early morning lifeguard.  Later I would run into him as he was doing his swim workout.  Such a loss at a young age.

On 06/21/23, Zach's father informed me that his son had passed away. Zach and I and his father patronized the DA Turner YMCA. I met Zach at this YMCA many years ago. Zach was a competent life guard. He provided me excellent tips as pertains to what were quality dietary supplements. Based on Zach's guidance, I incorporated exercises in the water that helped strengthen my core muscles. Zach was a resource for many people. Zach's presence, will be missed.

We just heard of your loss this week. Our hearts and prayers go out to you in these days. We enjoyed getting to know Zach and your family during our time with the Columbus Hurricanes. We are lifting you up in prayer and asking God's Holy Spirit to comfort you and give you His peace.

Zach was a real character in the best sense of the word. He was friendly and helpful to me and customers at my shop. He was knowledgeable , funny and opinionated He was supportive and caring to me and others. I am thankful to have known him and will miss him.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. 

I work at the Y where Zach came to swim regularly. I will miss Zach as will everyone that knew and came into contact with him. He was always very respectful and polite. Such a sweet soul. We are all deeply saddened by his passing and want to give our sincere condolences to his family. I pray God will give you that special wonderful peace that passes all understanding, and hug each of you tightly in his care as you grieve the loss of such an exceptional young man.
