William "Bill" Stringfellow May 21, 1960 - April 6, 2010 COLUMBUS, GA— William "Bill" Stringfellow, 49, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, April 06, 2010 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 08, 2010 in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus with the Reverend David Howell officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. The family will receive friends Thursday April 8, 2010 at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mr. Stringfellow was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 21, 1960 son of the late William David Stringfellow Sr. and Annie Eve Stringfellow. Mr. Stringfellow was preceded in death by a nephew, Kenneth James Stringfellow and niece, Tiffany Folmar. Survivors include one son, Cody David Stringfellow of Columbus; two sisters, Carol Carver and her husband Lee of Columbus and Debbie Gelineau and her husband Richard of Columbus; two brothers, Pete Stringfellow and his wife Amy of Denver, CO, and Bobby Stringfellow of Denver, CO; several nieces and nephews; one special friend, Charlie Webster of Columbus; and a faithful dog companion, Smokey.
