William Thomas Sizemore

William Thomas “Tom” Sizemore, 83, of Box Springs, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 11:00am, at Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Box Springs, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning inside the church.

Mr. Sizemore, son of the late Roy Sizemore and Gena Lee Mayo Sizemore, was born April 6, 1934, in Chattahoochee County, Georgia.

He was a member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Sizemore was an intelligent man and considered a jack of all trades. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved by all. Mr. Sizemore enjoyed racing, driving four wheel drive trucks, and cooking on the weekends with his family.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Susan Sizemore; son, Gerald Lee Sizemore; siblings, Wilma, Emily, and James.

Mr. Sizemore is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Nancy Sizemore; sons, Wayne Sizemore (Kay), Michael Sizemore (Janie); daughter, Melissa Page (Tommy); grandchildren, Carrie Sizemore, Josh Sizemore (Desiree), Sheri Hall, Adam Sizemore (Brittney), Cameron Sizemore (Kimberly), Ethan Amon (Amber); eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren: other relatives and many friends.
