William Wyatt Connor, age 93, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Saturday October 13, 2018. William was born October 6, 1925 in Hartford, Alabama to his late parents Lillian McCoy and Willian Henry Connor. William served his country proudly in the US Army in the Korean Conflict. He was a very happy person and was always smiling. William loved his wife and loved to sing. Many may remember William as the New Car Sales Manager at Bill Heard Chevrolet, or for the beautiful tenor voice in the gospel quartet The Southern Harmony Boys. William will always be remembered as a good honest man that loved the Lord and ministered in song.
Other than his parents, William was preceded in death by; four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by; his loving wife of 68 years, Frances Irene Connor; brother, Patrick Connor; nieces, nephews, other family members and many, many friends.
A Grave Side Celebration of William’s Life will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Riverdale Cemetery, 1000 Victory Dr. Columbus, Georgia followed by a visit with the family with Reverend Udell Adison officiating.
