Celebration of Life services for Vickie will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Pastor Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening September 14, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Vickie was born February 4, 1968 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Roy Eugene and Martha Ellen Watson Sanders. She was a lifelong resident of Columbus and was the co-owner with her husband of Contract Hardware.
Vickie was a loving and selfless person. She would do without to help someone in need. Vickie was also very protective and motherly to those who knew her. Her family meant the world to her. She loved spending time and making memories with them. We will miss her presence daily, but her caring spirit will live forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Whittle; two sons and their wives, Johnpaul and Casey Cooper, Dalton and Skylar Whittle; three grandchildren, Brody Cooper, Austin Jones and Hope Schuster; great nephew, Anthony Heath; one brother, Scott Wilkes; numerous other family members and friends.
