Stanley Brian Steele, Jr., 47, of St. Petersburg, Fl., formerly of Columbus, GA., passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015. A Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Brian was born January 27, 1968 in Athens, GA., the son of Stanley Brian Steele, Sr. and Janice Smith Steele. He was a graduate of Columbus High School, class of 1986. He lived most of his life in Columbus, GA., before moving to St. Petersburg six years ago.
Other than his parents, survivors include his wife, Kelly Davis Steele of St. Petersburg, FL.; son, Seth Austin Steele Centerbar of Columbus; sister, Leslie Steele Sikes (Steve) of Hamilton, GA.; sister, Stephanie Steele Merritt (Ernie) of Auburn, AL.; nieces and nephews, Steven Sikes, Savannah Sikes, and Suzie Sikes of Hamilton, GA., Miller Merritt and Maggie Merritt of Auburn, AL.
