Sherry L. Hickman Joyner March 8, 1958 - April 3, 2010 DOUGLASVILLE, GA— Sherry L. Hickman Joyner, 52, of Douglasville, GA died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Tanner Medial Center in Villa Rica, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Joyner was born March 8, 1958 in Columbus GA to Sylvia W. Taylor and the late Forrest Hickman. She was an Optician with Vision Works. We will miss her presence daily, and we will cherish her memory forever. Survivors include her husband, George Daniel Joyner, Jr. of Douglasville, GA; one son, Michael Shane Scarborough of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Shannon Michelle Scarborough of Augusta, GA; her mother, Sylvia W. Taylor of Dallas, GA; her siblings, Jeffery Hickman of Douglasville, GA, Tommy Dallas Hickman of Dallas, GA, Michael Kevin Hickman of Douglasville, GA, and Angela Dawn Armstrong of Douglasville, GA; five grandchildren, Taylor Jordan Scarborough, Kevin Michael Scarborough, Joshua Adam Scarborough, Autumn Renee Scarborough, and Kaitlyn Marie Scarborough; a host of numerous nieces and nephews; her puppies, Mr. Bo Jangles, and Bindi.
