Samuel B. Hewitt, Jr.

Memorial Funeral Services will be Saturday,1:00 p.m. December 8, 2018 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus with Rev. Ben Hewitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Hewitt was born June 19, 1968 in Columbus the son of Samuel B. Hewitt and Sue Treadwell Cargill. Mr. Hewitt was a lifelong resident of Columbus and was the Vice President of Sam Hewitt Services and a member of Rocky Mt. Baptist Church.

Mr. Hewitt was preceded in death by uncles Wilburn and Phil Hewitt.

He is survived by his mother, Sue Treadwell Cargill of Columbus; his father, Samuel Berry (Diane) Hewitt of Columbus; a son, Max Hewitt of Columbus; a sister, Tammy Hewitt (Glenn) Winchester of Columbus; aunt, Mary Ann Hewitt of Columbus; uncle, Charles Treadwell of FL.; nephew, J.R. (Elizabeth) Pines III of New Orleans, LA.; niece, Tiffany Winchester; Stepsister, Danielle Mc Kinney; stepbrother, Leslie (Rebecca) McKinney all of Columbus; and several other nieces and nephews
