Rossie is survived by his companion of many years, Patsy Hearn; seven children, Eve Davis, Lindsey Hammonds, Laura Manley, Josiah Blyler, Rachel Blyler-Kite, Samuel Blyler, and Nehemiah Blyler; sister, Tracy Moore as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Blyler and Betty J. Brimberry-Lutz; sisters Patty Tackett and Carol Sue Blyler.
Rossie spent much of his employment with Pratt & Whitney and Precision Components International in various roles including Dip Line Engineer.
Rossie was known for his love of animals especially his beloved dogs, Ringo and Spritz. He had a green thumb and an amazing talent for reviving plants brought to him in poor condition. He loved fishing, camping, collecting coins, repairing lawnmowers for friends and neighbors, and eating at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 29th at Striffler Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel beginning with visitation at 3:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Rick Porter officiating.
