Tsgt (USAF Ret) Robert Williams

Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL.

Robert was born in Columbus, GA. on October 04, 1931 to the late Roosevelt Williams and Francis Passmore Williams. He was a lifelong resident and a 1949 Graduate of Spencer High School and a Spencer High 49er Robert retired from the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service. While serving in the Air Force Robert completed the USAF Medical Unit Training Course and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Small Arms Marksmanship Medal.

Other than his parents, Roosevelt and Francis Williams, Robert was preceded in death by his siblings, Ralph, Roosevelt, Jr., Douglas, Gladys and Mildred Williams Broxton.

Robert leaves behind his brothers, Wilson Williams (Juanita) of Sawyerville, AL. and Jonathan Williams of Columbus, GA, nieces, Audrey Ford (Larry) and Jasalyn Williams, and Emma Williams, nephews Roosevelt Williams, III and Jeremy Williams, a sister-in-law, Cora Williams and numerous great nieces and nephews.
