Robert "Bob" J. Schutt

Bob loved flea marketing. He was a vendor at Ladonia Flea Market for 20 years. He was known by many as the “tool man”. Bob was proudly sober since April 15, 1979 and a member of AA. He helped many other maintain sobriety. Bob was in the Army from 1957 – 1961 and a loyal Alabama fan since 1952.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Cosgrove Schutt and Charles Edgar Schutt; previous wife, Dorothy Gibbs Schutt; and two siblings. He was survived in death by his significant other, Linda Gail Hammock.

A visitation for Bob will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A a graveside committal following services will occur at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
