Richard “Ricky” Redmond, age 52, resident of Columbus, died at Columbus Medical Center on June 19, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 3 p.m. with Reverend Earl Rawlings officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Mr. Redmond, son of Ralph Richard Redmond and the late Nellie Ann Collins Redmond, was born December 4, 1957 in Columbus. He was a Baptist by faith. Mr. Redmond is survived by his father, Ralph Redmond and his wife Vera of Columbus; companion and friend, Catherine Charo of Columbus; son, Danny Redmond of Atlanta, GA; sister, Tammy Renee Kennedy of Mobile, AL; other relatives and friends.
