Rhonda Kessler

Rhonda Kessler, age 60, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021. A Memorial service for Rhonda will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.

Rhonda was born October 6, 1960 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Grace Elizabeth Huto Steverson and Handley Young. Although Rhonda was disabled, she was outgoing and never met a stranger. She was kind , generous to a fault, and never judgmental. Rhonda adored her family and especially her grandchildren, and “Chopper”. She taught her children to love one another and take care of each other. Rhonda loved to sing Karaoke and everyone knew it was going to be a good day when Chopper would make her laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew loved her.

Rhonda is survived by daughter Kalissa Norwood (Willie); father Handley Young and mother Grace Elizabeth Huto Steverson; sister Donna Neal (William) and brother Ronnie Livengood (Lynn); grandchildren Isaiah Flantroy, Pinkie Norwood, special friends Lance Crager, Don Holland and fur buddy Chopper. Rhonda also has many special nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends to cherish her memories.
