A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Billy Duncan officiating. Reba will be laid to rest at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, Georgia.
Reba was born on January 21, 1935 in Louisville, AL. to the late Willie A. Tyler and Ruth Kelly Tyler. She was a 1952 graduate of Jordan Vocational High School. Reba was a resident of Columbus for many years and was retired from J.H. Tool Company. Reba was a faithful Christian and a member of Beallwood Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her husband, Major (Ret) Robert L. Russell, Jr. and a great grandchild, Infant Russell preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Michael T. Russell and wife Connie of Fortson, GA. grandchildren, Robert J. Russell and wife Kayla of Columbus, Ga. and Anne-Marie E. Debrabant and husband Kyle of Cataula, GA. and a great granddaughter, Paisley-Anne R. Debrabant.
