Born on September 10, 1945, in Washington, DC, Penny lived a life filled with love and adventure. She found her lifelong partner, James T. Sprague, and they were happily married on July 20, 1968. Penny often said that this was one of the proudest moments of her life. Another proud moment was becoming a mother to her beloved daughter, Meredith Melissa Sprague Price, whom she cherished deeply. She dedicated her life to being a loving and caring wife and mother, always putting her family first, a true testament to her unwavering love and commitment.
Penny was not only a devoted wife and mother, but she was also a passionate business executive at the successful company she co-owned with her husband. Her love for genealogy and Christmas was contagious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She loved counting down the days until her next cruise and sharing stories about the exciting places she had visited.
Penny will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, James Thomas Sprague; her twin sister, Alexis Dorothy White Paul (Donnis Wilson Paul); her daughter, Meredith Melissa Sprague Price (Jameson Edward Price); her grandchildren, Grayson Blaine Glover and Sophia Gretchen Jones; and a vast network of friends who cherished her unwavering support and compassion.
