Pauline Allen

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery. Family will visit with friends on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in the St. Elmo Room.

Mrs. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was Christian by faith and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She was married to the late James Arthur Allen, Jr. and together they called Columbus, Georgia home. Mrs. Pauline enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a huge Atlanta Braves fan and an avid gardener tending to her roses in her yard. Mrs. Pauline loved to fish, catfish was a favorite.

She was predeceased by her husband James, her parents Allie and Hollis Jones, her siblings: James Jones, Richard Jones, Lucile Hendrix, and Josephine Stringfellow.

She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Ward son Mike Ramsey and his wife Rose; her grandchildren: Melinda Ramsey Campos and her husband Felipe, Kristopher Ramsey and his wife Jessica, Joshua Ramsey and his wife Tasha, and Tyler Ramsey and his wife Danielle; her great grandchildren: Sofia Luann Ramsey-Campos, Alexandre Joao Ramsey-Campos, Harper Ramsey, Kate Ramsey and Charlie Aveta Ramsey; her and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
