Patsy Frith Freeman

Patsy Frith Freeman, 69, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Columbus Hospice. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Linwood Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus.

Mrs. Freeman, daughter to the late Mabel D. and Percy M. Frith, was born November 29, 1946 in Columbus, GA. She retired from Swift Mills after 20 years or service. After retirement, Mrs. Freeman loved spending time with her family, enjoyed drawing and playing Bingo. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her son, Otis Benjamin Freeman, Jr. and her sister, Frances Frith Holley. She is survived by her loving daughters, Marie Freeman Henderson (Jackie) of Smiths Station, AL and Patty Freeman Elliott (John) of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren Joshua Henderson (April), Jessica Henderson, Savannah Elliott, Johni Elliott and Michael Curry; great granddaughter Harper Marie Henderson; special friends Janice and Danny Cotton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
