Patricia Ann Young

Patricia Ann Young, 64, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024. A visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 3:00 pm with a committal service following at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907.

Patricia was born in Gainsville, FL and raised by her beloved parents, Carlene and Emery Wise. She loved her family and spending time making memories with her children, grandchildren and friends. When she wasn’t with family, she was excelling in her career as a claims processor for Gateway Lincoln Mercury and Jay Mazda for many years until medically retiring. Patricia also loved to read and put together jigsaw puzzles, as well as online shopping. Patricia was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, friend and follower of Christ. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Dozier (Denton Dozier Jr.); son, Thurston Rivers III; grandchildren, Kayla, Kobe, Jacob, Jayda, Caleb, Kelcye, Kenyon, and Kamron; and many wonderful friends and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emery Wise and Carlene Wise; and son, Trenton Hill.
