He loved working on cars and spending time with family. He also loved his dog, Dixie and he was always working or doing something outdoors.
Survivors include his mother, Tamera Moseley; his sister, Stephany Simmons; his grandfather, Timothy Melvin; his grandmothers, Diane Jerkins and Ann Trippe; his niece, Madilyne Ridenour; his nephews, Jason Simmons and Jaxon Simmons; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Melvin.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00AM. Rev. Danny Courtney will be officiating services. Family will visit with friends Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 5:00PM to 6:00PM. Burial will follow chapel service at Parkhill Cemetery.
